Pre-Cleanse or Pre-Detox Protocol Guidelines


  • Relatively good physical health
  • Mentally secure (managing stress, no significant lifestyle changes or emotional issues, realistic expectations not a last ditch effort to lose weight before an event)
  • Personal choice - you want to do this for you, for your life and health
Before You Cleanse or Dextox
  • Be mentally prepared for your fast - temptations WILL happen, but you are CAPABLE of choosing 
  • This is a short term commitment, but with regular investment, it can become a long term benefit
How to Prepare
  • Following these steps will reduce the risk of a shock (healing crisis) to your system when you begin fasting, and will help you achieve your best results
  • It is recommended that you take a gradual approach to fasting so your body does not detoxify too quickly
  • Detoxifying too quickly can result in feeling less than awesome, or even slightly ill
  • Ensure your recommended daily nutritional intake is met
5 - 7 days Prior
  • Eliminate all animal products (meat, poultry, fish, eggs, dairy) from your diet
  • Eliminate fat laden and deep fried foods
  • Significantly reduce (or eliminate) caffeine, alcohol, nicotine, chocolate, sugar, soda
3 days Prior
  • Eat vegetables, fruits, nuts, seeds, beans
  • Drink at least 8 cups of alkaline or spring water a day 
1 Day Prior
  • Eat only raw vegetables and fruits (ideally organic)

...and do not forget to:

  • Keep your juice cool to preserve all the qualities (freshness, enzymes, and taste) ofthe living juice
  • Bring a cooler when picking up your juice
